Cyprus—22 October 2010—A Croatian film crew visited Moni, the Nirosoft desalination plant outside Limassol in Cyprus on Friday 22nd October, according to the plant manager, Andrew Urquhart. The crew filmed general footage of the site and the control room, to be shown in a five-minute feature on Cyprus. The feature also included an interview with the Water Development Authority.
The Moni desalination plant supplies 22,000 m3 of drinking water per day to the Limassol area, and has been in operation since December 2008.
