Moran Samuel to compete in the London Paralympics
Moran Samuel, daughter of Nirosoft's Office Manager, Judith Samuel, is going to be competing in the rowing competition in the London Paralympics. Moran made headlines in May this year, when she won a rowing competition in Italy. When she realized that the organizers did not have the national anthem ready, she sang "Hatikvah" herself. See Moran singing the anthem here.

Commenting to Channel 2 news after the event, Moran said: "If you look at an obstacle as an obstacle, there's a good chance it will knock you down. If you look at an obstacle as a challenge, then you'll do the maximum to overcome it. There can be small challenges, like the anthem and me taking the mic and singing, and there can be bigger challenges."

Moran became paralyzed at age 24 when she suffered a rare spinal stroke. Always a keen sportswoman, she subsequently joined the National Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team, before taking up rowing. See Moran's interview with Channel One, where she talks about her story.

Nirosoft wishes this inspiring athlete every success in her bid to bring a gold medal home to Israel.
